Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. The internet is the oxygen of modern society. It can easily be concluded that the modern world is not significant if we cut off the internet from it. Hence it should be considered as the basic right of each citizen. Whenever internet blackouts happen in some parts of the world, they affect not only the market and business but also the normal lifestyle of all human beings overall. We have to accept we can't make progress in the absence of the Internet.

Internet as a basic Right

The Internet has direct or indirect interaction with many things. There will be no one who will ignore its need in the world of technology. Many fields are linked to its presence. If we affect its supply then we are snatching citizens rights. Let me explain these lines in broader aspects.

Freelancing is the source of income for many people around the world. Smooth working in freelancing is only possible through the fastest internet. If we cut the internet in a country, then many people will face unemployment. These examples are very common in Pakistan, where a firewall has been installed to hack the privacy of the people. It has slowed down the internet. Due to this problem, Fiverr and many other applications have been made unavailable to many Pakistanis. I have witnessed freelancers on the roads. They not only protested but also appealed to the International Human Rights organization about this problem. Many international organizations forced the Pakistani Government to remove the firewalls and ensure the fastest internet supply for each Pakistani. In the end, the government of Pakistan apologized to the youth.

Internet is no doubt the basic right of each citizen. If a government crashes this right, then the United Nations should take action against it. Certainly, the internet made the freedom of speech possible. For its few negative aspects, we can't ignore its positive impacts in the world. Each country should respect to this basic human right.

Final Thoughts

Through Courtesy of Internet, we can avail many opportunities around the world. It didn't has any doubt we all are connected and have fastest means of communication due to its network web. Without any further Addo, we have to accept it as basic human right that is all. Still there are areas in the world where internet supply is compromised, I considered these areas as the darkest part of the world. Either it is war or peace, we can't snatch the right of fastest internet by any citizen. Further, government made it sure that every citizen would facilitate itself by fastest network if possible. Recently, government of Pakistan has made a contract with Elon Starlink Network. Many Pakistanis are freelancers and fastest network is essential for their progress. It didn't has any doubt that fastest network is the right of each citizen. I always appeal to United Nations for addition of network as the biggest human rights. Moreover, there will be Punishment for the countries that will snatch this right from any citizens. I hope, these amendments about internet will be implemented soon.
