You have clearly stated outstanding points but the fact is, there are times when employers goes beyond using data gotten from employees social media handle to protect their organisation image. There are times we find ourselves in awkward situations on social media, in such a case employers wouldn't care about the cause but more about how it affects the organisation image in so doing it puts such employee job in jeopardy. I mean employees will have to walk on egg shells on social media just to ensure they don't get involved in matters that can cause their job harm, are we not supposed to have rights to use our social media accounts as we see fit but in this case such rights no longer exist.
