This is a very sad story about Timi, being over protective can lead many kids to flow in diverse form of lifestyle which may be so detrimental to them at a later age just as in the case of Timi I know the parents would have been in great regrets by now.

I always tell parent to allow their kids be free with them and allow their kids bring their friends home
