Hello Hive.
Most times I do not believe in love quotes because they can come from any lips and only when a reality of situations we are in becomes clearer that we know if those quotes were actually telling the truth or just a mirror of the lust a person had towards his partner and if what we felt was love or mere infatuation.
Although true love exist between some Married couples but its not every couple who are married are truly in love with each other.
Having said these I welcome you to another interesting edition of the hive learners weekly prompt questions and its that moment I have come face with some topics that touches peoples emotions.

Love
Whether we feel it or not love exist but people tend to shy away from talking about it because of their personal experiences, sometimes the wound of love never heals and you find people not wanting to open up their hearts to a new lover.
Did I have a first love experience?
I doubt this to be true 🤓.
During my teenage years I was too book headed and spiritually inclined to think about a boy or love.
My routines were from book to church and basic house chores.
@21 years of age, I still haven't experience or spell out what the love term means.
The funniest part was the puberty aspect of my life that came very late and I didn't have any of the feminine features to attract a boy so I held my peace and prayed 😂🤓
The love thing got to hit me when I became a university undergraduate and that feeling of everybody has a boyfriend except Monica
So let's see if did love anybody
Monica needs a boyfriend and its usually not a hard thing to find in the university, ugly or beautiful, there is someone in that campus for you, and whether its love or lust something will sha be happening between you and somebody 🤓🤓😂
That was my case, I didn't keep a single gentle man (truth be told), I just had a couple of male friends who were interested in me and whether they were in love with me or not I can't say.
Particular one tall handsome oyinbo among them keeps telling me he loves me and I knew that was true because he does so up till today.
Not sharing intimacy with these guys made it all fun for me, it was a feeling of you haven't committed any crime just yet and I was having having fun knowing I have some guys am close to but we were not in a relationship, you may want to call that flirting but I don't know if that word fit in here.
How did I come about meeting these guys
It was the simplest of things, 2go room then was fun and the moment I enter the university of Ilorin 2go room chat I made new friends, I made friends on the school walk way, cafe and classrooms.
Just friends that we foolishly having crush on each other and it all ended there.
Maybe I did love somebody
Maybe I did and maybe not, that feeling came when someone I was crushing on got married to someone else, I felt like he jilted me but were not in a serious relationship.
I wasn't the marriage that freaked me but it somehow looked like i felt so attacked and we belonged with each other
Why did I feel that way and was that meant to be my first feelings at love?

Me I've felt it, but I don't think anyone has truly felt it for me. It was more of attraction based on what they wanted. You know......
Nevertheless, I was like you. I probably didn't have any features that made me attractive, I guess attraction is the doorway to love.
However there was this orobo lady, she was always saying she loved me, that was during the lockdown. She was probably in love with my bear bear (beards) because she was always touching the beards anytime she says so.
However, we all can tell when we see true love, it's harder for a man.
I smell the one sided love thing...
Its difficult and you may never express your feelings.

Looool I guess we're not in the mind of people hence we can't exactly predict what they feel, whether it's lust, whether it's pity whether it's something extrinsically motivated, we cannot tell. I've opened myself up many times, it wasn't worth it. These things are complicated. People who have it easy don't know the struggle hahaha.
