With any significant goals, aspiration, and hope to achieve, anybody can be successful upon the right combination. Oh! I did left out intelligence? Yes, its acquisition and application is beyond the walls of schools and the system grading through paper pencil tests. One's academic achievement within the school in our world of today is seen as the yard stick to one's intelligence yet knowledge has no bounds.
some are not within the direct control of teachers or the student while others are. Many a time students are graded below/ above their performance with facts fetched from recording errors, marking without mark guide, zero supervision, typographic error and not to mention the ghost grading in likes of bribes or other teacher-students corrupt practices. A tertiary institution release it result of recent with many errors record wise, where; 47 was graded as “A” meanwhile the real score was actually 74, and for another students with a matriculation number ..060 and...006 their grades were recorded wrongly as matriculation number …060 never sat for the exam while the other student did. On students' parts there might be other unrevealed scenes of break-down emotionally within the time of exams, exam phobia, emotional instability, among other all these during the process of examination will yield poor grades yet that does not measure their intelligence.
Education can be seen as the way to impact knowledge to individual to bring out the full potential and truly, the school is more than a social factor but intellects can be beyond its wall, intelligence can be measured even outside an organized setting beyond listening, writing, speaking, and reading. The understanding of a particular skill is knowledge, the application of this skill makes intellect. Driving at the fact that there are many other ways to measure intelligence aside paper pencil grading systems. Yes, the school is an organized setting for the transfer of knowledge, teaching and learning takes turns within the institute but one thing it does not give is intelligence it is always the students’ to apply that.
A mathematics teacher will teach and explain and give examples in various ways just to make sure there is transfer of knowledge then it is up to the student to show his or her level of intellect through the application of the acquired knowledge to other problems to be solved.
In my very own view grading does not measure one's intelligence but student performance to know the level of knowledge acquired which possibly leads to academic achievement and a yard stick to one's success academically. The application of knowledge can be within the walls of the school and outside the walls. That process of application makes up our intelligence.

You're right there are times when we are given a very low grade compared to how well we did and there are other times we are favored and give more, in view of this is hard to say whether or not the student is intelligent or not. I totally agree with your point.

I totally agree with you here. The school is to help you build or bring out what is already in built. Judging people based on their level of education is not supposed to be but it is important so as to learn more

There are a lot of errors that can bring the alteration of students result and it's so disturbing that that person had to go through it, after seating for exams just to find out nothing was recorded instead the person absent got the grades it's so pathetic..

I agree with you. judgment cannot determine a person's intelligence. but it is creativity that speaks because from a creativity we can see the level of someone's thinking.
