When we are children and still don't understand many things, sometimes we say words or take actions that make no sense, being a real tantrum against our parents and, for this reason, the childhood and adolescent phase is something focused on learning, mistakes and reflections. Now imagine if until they turn 18 (here in Brazil it is the age of majority), children and adolescents could take their parents to court? Sue them for anything they think is not right? This would probably be a disaster in my opinion, after all, before reaching maturity, we are known for our immaturity!
Here in Brazil, I don't know exactly how the legal process works, but a child can, for example, report mistreatment by their parents to another adult or the police, for example, and then the public prosecutor's office or the child protection council can open a case, which could involve losing custody of the children or even imprisonment. However, children cannot and I don't think they should even have the power to sue their parents, especially if it were for trivial reasons. Imagine if a child wanted to win a chocolate bar and their parents said no, and as a result, they would file a lawsuit against their parents, that would be crazy.
Parents must have the right to educate, guide and correct their children, if necessary, so that they don't grow up as adults who think that everything has to be their way. Children today are brave, they confront their parents, and cell phones with influencers have become a bad thing for children. My children are not angels, but they also know that they need to obey and respect me, but even so, they still have tense moments, where they always try to justify their mistakes because they say they saw something on the internet, so this point is a danger for everyone.

This is the kind of thing that makes no sense, giving so much power to someone who doesn't even know how to take care of themselves. The world would become a mess, a madhouse. Children would send their parents to prison all the time, I'm sure of that, because, as an example, how many times have I not been hurt by my mother, how many times have I not thought of something bad? Of course I didn't do it, but today, I recognize that it was all for my own good.
We can't let the world turn upside down, become crazier than it already is, so children must respect and obey their parents. Of course, if the parents do something really bad, like, for example, very harsh physical punishment that ends up hurting the child or something like that, the child has the right to inform someone and thus file a lawsuit for a more in-depth investigation. Now, for petty reasons, justice in some way being served against the parents would never be right.

Quando somos crianças e ainda não entendemos muitas coisas, às vezes falamos palavras ou tomamos atitudes sem sentido, sendo uma verdadeira birra contra nossos pais e, por esse motivo, a fase de criança e adolescente é algo focado em aprendizado, erros e reflexões. Agora imagine se até completar 18 anos (aqui no Brasil é a idade da maioridade), as crianças e adolescentes pudessem levar seus pais na justiça? Processar eles por qualquer coisa que achem que não fosse o certo? Isso possivelmente seria um desastre na minha opinião, afinal, antes de chegar na maturidade, somos conhecidos justamente pela imaturidade!
Aqui no Brasil eu não sei dizer exatamente como funciona o processo judicial, mas uma criança pode, por exemplo, relatar maus tratos dos pais para algum outro adulto ou policial, por exemplo, e assim o ministério público ou conselho tutelar pode abrir algum processo, que envolva perca da guarda das crianças ou até mesmo a prisão. Agora, crianças não podem e acho que nem devem mesmo ter esse poder de processar os pais, ainda mais se fossem por motivos fúteis. Imagine que o filho gostaria de ganhar um chocolate e os pais dissessem que não, e com isso, ele abriria um processo contra seus pais, isso será uma loucura.
Os pais têm que ter esse direito de educar, orientar e corrigir, se for preciso, seus filhos, para que assim não cresçam como adultos que acham que tudo tem que ser do jeito deles. As crianças hoje em dia estão corajosas, afrontam seus pais e o celular com os influenciadores se tornaram um mal para as crianças. Meus filhos não são anjos, mas também sabem que precisam me obedecer e respeitar, mas mesmo assim, ainda têm momentos tensos, em que eles tentam sempre justificar seus erros porque dizem que viram algo na internet, então esse ponto é um perigo para todos.
UnsplashPor isso, acho que a ideia de dar o poder a crianças de processar seus pais e levar ao tribunal por qualquer coisa é apenas uma fantasia que nunca deve ser realizada. Isso é o tipo de coisa que não faz sentido, dar tanto poder para quem nem sabe mesmo cuidar de si próprio, o mundo iria se tornar uma zona, uma loucura. As crianças iriam mandar seus pais para a prisão o tempo todo, disso tenho certeza, pois, como exemplo próprio, quantas vezes não fiquei magoado com a minha mãe, quantas vezes não pensei em algo ruim, claro que não fiz, mas hoje, reconheço que foi tudo para o meu bem.
Não podemos deixar o mundo virar de cabeça para baixo, ficar mais maluco do que já está, então crianças devem respeitar e obedecer seus pais, claro que se os pais fazem algo muito ruim, como, por exemplo, castigo físico muito pesado, que chegue a machucar a criança ou algo do tipo, a criança tem o seu direito de avisar alguém e assim dar processo para uma investigação mais aprofundada, agora por motivos furteis a justiça de alguma forma se feita contra os pais não seria certo em nenhum momento.

I totally agree with you. Children shouldn't be allowed to sue their parents. The only reason to do something like that is if there exists some kind of abuse from the parents to the child, and it should be done by another adult, not directly by the child.
Exactly, in a world that allowed children to do this willy-nilly, it would clog up the courts with parents being denounced and prosecuted. Children don't have the emotional capacity to understand things and judge the situation correctly.
