Nature is the greatest artist of all, but when it is combined with the works of another human artist, it is even more wonderful.
In the middle of a path that leads to the nature of a forest park, there are castles and palaces made of the beautiful wood of trees that have been cut down or felled either by nature itself or by man to avoid greater evils when the trees are already dry.
The path before the forest park Monte Victoria, is like a miniature city, but made up of constructions of a fantasy world, which is achieved by an artist who loves his art, as people say that he is seen carving trees from time to time and as far as I could tell there are dozens of them.
The carving motifs are beautiful and diverse, and it seems that miniature people or perhaps other beings live there. Walking among them feels very magical and many times I went off the central path to go down and admire the trunks that were in the middle of the foliage.
I suppose that being a forest there must be snakes, but as it is winter they are not present. And also as it is winter the sun feels very pleasant these days, as the thickness of the forest means that there are places of great gloom and very cool shade.
I always love the sunshine that sneaks through the trees and on this occasion I made the most of it as it was a bit chilly. It felt great to be illuminated in the middle of the walk.
As I said, this first part of the tour is very mysterious and magical, full of beautiful and delicate art that this artist, Manuel Ledesma, develops with love. You can see it in each work.
Each tree is a marvellous construction, pure creativity, style and wonder of wood art. Wood symbolizes warmth, that's why I like it so much. The smell of the wood, the trees and the natural surroundings, close your eyes and your other senses become much more active. This is how the walk becomes a complete experience and you get to join in with nature and feel it.
Following the walk a small flower came out to meet me, a wild flower growing in the cold.
Meanwhile the sun bathed the trees, carved or not.
I love it when these places have a sign explaining the area, telling what species of flora and fauna they contain, and although I couldn't see any animals up close, except for birds they were surely there watching me, like the little people in the trees.
I am always surprised by the conservation of nature here, in this case the area has been repopulated with trees, especially pines, to prevent the rains from bringing debris into the city.
As far as I could see, there are above all pines, the Aleppo pine stands out, as the sign mentioned. But I also saw olive trees, carob trees and some others. Also shrubs such as broom.
I would have loved to see a chameleon, maybe on my next visit I will be able to see it, and also some hedgehogs, which according to the sign there are also some.
I think the most common things to see are squirrels and mice. In almost all the parks and gardens in the city there are them. And I suppose even more so here, as it is a natural environment far from the population.
There are rest areas and also marked areas for picnics, as well as an area for children to play. Many people exercise here and walk their dogs. It is very peaceful and relaxing to walk in this area, away from the noise and bustle of the city.
On several occasions I went off the path again to enter the thick forest park to have a closer look at the trees, bushes, vegetation in general and its oddities, such as the inclination they have.
Paying attention to some small plant that I see on my way, which seems insignificant, but is part of this beauty.
Also admire the heights, the sky, the tree tops and the rays of the sun.
On the sides of the path, look at the colour of the earth and the stones, rather reddish, shapes, figures, textures.
It has been a great walk full of pure, clean air, a lot of peace that brings peace of mind and helps the spirit a lot. I love hiking, it is a way to separate myself from real life for a moment and to be able to look at various perspectives and points of view, even sometimes new and renewing ideas arise when one does not think, and the body is also renewed.
A walk of nature, art and renewal.
Thank you very much for joining me today, I send you my best regards. See you soon.

Hello dear friend @avdesing
What a beautiful place you chose for this walk, literally an enchanted forest with beautiful works to see
Great that the site was signposted
Thank you very much for showing us this beautiful Wednesday walking experience
Have a lovely afternoon
It's a great place to walk and get rid of stress, as well as to find yourself. Nature is wise. Thank you for joining me!😃
Wow, so nice art park in the nature! Not so far from my city there is a corner in the forest with some pieces of art made using fallen branches and old woods.
Seeing things like that is wonderful, people making art like that, I love it. Thank you!🤗
What an inspiring place you find. You take from nature, and then you give it back. So nice!
I love to see art and nature together, it's very magical! Thank you.🤗
It's great to see the creative way people interact with nature there. It's so artistic.
It's a very special place and it's thanks to this artist I think, it's great!😃
I don't agree with what you say about separating yourself from real life, I think it's the opposite.
That artist who carves trees must enjoy very much when the forms emerge and his idea is finally projected in that natural paradise. The smell of pine trees must be enchanting.
I meant stress free... real life isn't going anywhere, but there.... it's relaxing to think. I just got back from hiking... what a beautiful place! I've never been there before!
Totally agree about the artist, he must be very happy.
Now I know where Monte Victoria is, and I remember these carved trees from you, but we didn't have time for everything to visit. But that's why Hive is here, now I walked there through your post :D
Indeed, as some little mysterious creatures would live there 😉
I've been there three times and it's beautiful, I take my mate with me and we drink it with my family, it's great, walking in nature and admiring art. It renews energy! Although the long walks tire the legs hahaha.
It is perfect to have places like this in the city, so you can go and enjoy nature. That is perfect!
When I go out I go to three or four places... hahaha today after almost two weeks I did sederismo... I don't have knees... hahaha but I walked 3 hours uphill... hills and hills! Tomorrow you will see something, I did several in one day.
I love those fantasy constructions, thanks for bringing them over here.
Big hugs @avdesing.
Thank you for stopping by! Good night!✨
Buenas noches!!! Y
Abrazo 🤗
A descansar, mucha caminata jaja👋
I agree nature is an amazing artist, but the talent of the artists who did those pieces is amazing they are so cool
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk and have a great day
I loved seeing those trees and their trunks being used to make art and wonderful art. It is always a pleasure to be here. Good evening!
Naaaa un aplauso para este artista que bellezas por favor!! De verdad como decis, es magico. Ahi deben vivir hadas y duendes me enamoreeeeeeeeee
Es un lugar increíble y el que fui hoy... dios santo, que belleza, quiero vivir en medio de la nada jajaja
Yo quiero vivir adentro de uno de esos arboles jaja
Y yo!! Un hada!
What beautiful works of art they made with those logs, it's like an open-air museum 😍
