The same place seen at different times changes completely and offers wonderful and different landscapes each time.
Often a walk begins aimlessly and when I realise I am wandering around here and there, until I return to the same place where I started, but it is no longer the same. The sun has changed giving different tones to the same place. So one walk is never the same as another.
Today's walk began looking for an art gallery that I didn't find, the historic centre can be confusing if you wander around too much. Never mind, next time I'm sure I'll find it because I know it's near a church.
I also wanted to go to a specific place, for a special reason that I will tell you about, but that will be tomorrow. Today what I can tell you is that I wanted to go near the castle and its gardens.

But as if I had opened a portal I appeared in a park near there. The weather in the city is never too cold, at least not as cold as in the rest of Spain. In fact, I always tell my friend Claudia that I live under a dome, the temperature is ideal and the sudden changes of the rest of the country do not happen here. That is why you can see some flowers at this time of year, the milder days bring the plants back to life and if there is a little drizzle like last night, even more so.
The garden paths are beautiful, full of trees, seats, plant beds and even small water fountains. There is also a very large one in the centre of the garden or park with amazing views of the castles of the city. Everything is always well maintained and clean.
I love those views, especially when the sun starts to go down.
Then I turned around and headed up the ramp to the Alcazaba castle gardens, also called the dark gate gardens. But I went to a special path, you'll see why.
In this place there are always cats, you know I love cats. This love is stronger than me. And just a couple who always come to feed them were there and all the kittens were crowding around to get a plate of food.
Some of them approached me and petted me, others, as they don't know me, passed further away and each one is different from the other, with its own characteristic spots. I stood there for a moment watching them.
I continued my walk along the path, it is very quiet and people choose it precisely because they can see and pet the cats.
From there the views are beautiful, historical buildings, town hall, the city park and the sunset.
The sun was getting lower and lower, there was a cool breeze but the trees were repairing from it.
The sky was beautiful with its beautiful and real clouds that were painted in colours as the sun was going down.
Arriving at the height of the first park, which is why it is a circular walk, I could see many buses with tours of retired people. This time of year is the low season for tourism and therefore more economical. This is the time of the year when this kind of tourism comes mainly from the rest of Spain, but also from other parts of the world. It is cheaper.
I moved from the castle gardens back to the park which is right next to the town hall and I could see how the landscape had changed, it looked like another park.
I sat for a moment or maybe several moments to look around and contemplate the sky and the beautiful view. I took my mate with biscuits and savoured it in that place and then set off on my way back.
This time I photographed the way back because I found it beautiful and I found very nice postcards.
I love to see these flower beds, they change from time to time, but they almost always have red, pink and white colours that contrast very well with the green. The city lights are back to normal, but no less beautiful for that.
These columns on the sea square are always dressed up as if time did not pass.
But the harbour building behind had my favourite colour this time, it looks splendid.
Fewer people are on the streets now, there is a little break of abundant tourism until the carnival.
Could it be that this bicycle sculpture is telling me to go for a ride? It will be another day, for the moment the current one is coming to an end.

Those cats are definitely in good shape. And they even don't have to take their snack with them, they get the food for free 😂
Whenever I pass by there are always people who bring them something and go especially to be with them, it's very nice, one of them came to be petted. Total beauty!
They are beautiful, all, though my favourites are the tricolour ones. Is it allowed to bring food to cats? Isn't it just allowed for certain people, like an organization that takes care of stray cats?
In some places I've seen that only people are allowed, but in this case I don't know, to be honest. Tricoloured cats are always females, it is very rare to find a three coloured male cat unless there is a mutation.
Here I took some pictures that didn't come out.... they will come out tomorrow hahaha

Es verdad que , depende la hora, le paisaje se aprecia de cierta manera. En la mañana se ve todo calmo, en el atardecer todo hermoso... los colores cambian por completo. Hermoso paseo sobre todo la parte de los gatitos jejeje
La parte de los gatos fue la mejor... tengo que volver a ir para tenerlos para mi sola jajaja
