That is pretty interesting, this is also the first time I think I know the government uses more than one currency for the people. It could be a little bit confusing no?
I think it is better to have cash instead in that case, or any precious metals.
The place looks packed with people.
It is confusing for foreigners, because we Cubans have been like this for many years. Now apparently they are going to remove the MLC and only leave the USD and the Cuban Peso. We don't know yet how it's going to be. But there are already shops where you can pay directly with USD. And the banks are enabling cards for deposits in USD. Cuba is crazy in many ways. We have such a surreal reality in so many aspects that I can't even tell you about it.
I don't really like walking among people. That's why I moved away to the grassy area at the beginning. For taking photos, yes, it is an interesting place. 😉
