I think we need to slow down a bit to start with and then take that time to be more aware of what is around us.

yes I do agree so many people are in such a rush these days, I think when I got back into photography a few years ago it helped me to slow down relax and see more of what is around
I'm glad to hear that! And today we all get to enjoy the results of that by looking at your photos! I have great admiration of your work!
