Hello there! It's been a while, and I missed a lot of things here, I think😁. There's a lot on my plate this week due to the opening of classes, but I make sure to interact with you guys as much as I can 🫰.
Now, I felt so inactive for a while and just leaned on the four corners of our house as well as in the classroom. Felt so awkward. So I decided to go out and take a hike to our neighborhood, nature's bounty, during the holiday, and it's a perfect time to BREATHE from work, too.
At 6:02 AM, I prepare myself for a walk. Tucked in, shoes on, and caps on. My plan is to walk alone. However, my son is already at the doorstep, sitting silently, staring at the ground. Without any commotion, grab his hand and tell him, "We're going somewhere" hehe. He didn't hesitate to accompany me with enthusiasm.
We embarked before the sun was shining. In a newly created race track, we followed the path going somewhere. Honestly, this was my first time following the tracks for a longer time making this. This is just a few steps from our house and you know, people are busy making money so just bear with me🤣
When we finally reached the proper race track area, I felt new to this place. We usually played here during our childhood years, and this is not my place anymore. This is not the place I used to hop, jump, and get bruises whenever I tried to be me. It's nostalgic while walking down here and a bit emotional.
Just a short background of this place. This 16 hectares of land was bought by a businessman together with his family. To make use of this huge land, they have been creating race tracks to enjoy as well as earn money from it. They have been working for almost a year. Unfortunately, many of us suffered from being homeless (later on) due to this selling of land. We constructed houses because the father of the previous owner said that we could build there as long as he was alive; however, as years passed by, the owner then changed his plans, and worse, he sold it to his cousin, who is a businessman. So now, we are in crazy trouble where we can possibly build our own house. But fear not, God will provide.
As we reached the end of the tracks, we took a smooth detour going to "bungtod" (name of the place), connected to Managase road. Every leap counts, and every step must be watched to avoid possible incidents. Unknowingly, a relaxing and peaceful view is ahead of us. What a beautiful morning it is!
We've been walking for about 40 minutes but there's no sign of cramps but a motivated self to witness such grandeur of nature. My son is already complaining that his legs are tired, and his slippery slippers. Hehehe, so sorry, my child. I let him stay nearby so I can vividly see the beauty that awaits me. The fog, the green scenery, and the King Sun. What a perfect combination!
Felt recharged, have peaceful mind, and a whole lot of sweat! Oh, how I missed this sweat! That's all for my Wednesday walk, Hive friends! 'Till next time. Toodles!😉🫰
