A walk with nature, hoping to have a peak of Taal Volcano and test my endurance.

Finally, after several months, I was able to go out and have an hour's walk! Yes, it was that long, as I stopped in the middle to rest! It's a sad reality; I am no longer that fit 😖. It lies within my hand to go back in shape or not! Thus, for today, let me share an entry in #Wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay.

The weather was nice, and we didn't have the plan to go anywhere, so the husband finally accompanied me for a walk. There is a place here where you can run and reconnect with nature. It was only a few minutes walk, and you will enjoy the overlooking view of Taal volcano.

If only we had a lot of money, I would surely purchase a piece of land here, especially now that it is starting to be developed.

There are lamp posts now in every corner for everyone's convenience.

My mother-in-law would often walk/jog here with her friends. The only issue was that the lot was still unoccupied and dense.

If an emergency happens, you have no one to call. My morbid thoughts even think, what if I walk alone here, then someone will drag me in the bushes? Surely no one will find out 😫. Seriously speaking, it was really highly recommended to go in a group for safety reasons—well, for me.

Along the road, there are many fruit-bearing trees, such as coconuts, lanzones, and even wild berries. The husband left me behind as I was still busy capturing interesting subjects.

Five minutes away, I was surprised to know that there is a resort! The last time, this was still under construction. Since it was still early, it was still close. I plan to check or spend a day on tour.

There are few houses here, and you can see the view of Taal Lake, but we didn't detour as the road was rough. It would be a bumpy ride for Caleb.

After a few more minutes of walking, the road started to get narrow, leading to private properties. There was a wonderful view of Taal, but I could not trespass.

In previous years, we used to stay here for a while just to enjoy the breathtaking view. I wonder why the owner abandoned their home.

Yet, who knows, they will be back since the area is slowly progressing. My mother told me that there is some area currently under construction for a subdivision. I saw it earlier; just I forgot to take a photo.

Back to the view, sadly, it wasn't that visible now since trees had grown again due to the rainy season.

After this, we stopped exploring since the road was too narrow. Besides, I felt tired, too. Going back would be challenging as it was uphill, and even though it was still a cemented pathway, the struggle was real!

It was past eight, yet Mr. Sun was barely peaking. The surroundings were still quiet, and it was only us walking.

Caleb no longer wants to stay in his stroller, and if only he could speak 🤣. It seems my son wasn't a nature lover at all. His Dad didn't have a choice but to carry him, yet I was still leaving behind 😆. Nope, not because I was busy taking photos, but it was deadly tires. I was sweating and catching my breath.

After several shouts to the husband to stop and wait for me, rest and all, we finally managed to get back! The sun was up, and Caleb started giggling. Just wait until you can walk, baby. Surely, you will learn how to appreciate nature 😆.

I am no longer that fit

yes, raising a child is very tiring, and it consume most of your energy. But be proud that you are taking a very good of care of Caleb, maybe when he grow older both of you can exercise together.
hmmm just a few more years, you will be forced to exercise just by chasing him around. !LOLZ !LUV

I bet the wind is cooler there with the lush green bushes and tall trees. It would be really nice to jog in there every morning, but not going uphill, of course.

Caleb's getting bored in his stroller. He wanted to see the view in a much wider scope. 🤣

Yep it was but little bit creepy and I imagine a lot of morbid scenes 😆.

Hahaha he like in timezone ,🤣
