Hi everybody!
Yesterday I was in the center of Moscow on business, and after I got free, I decided to walk.
During the walk, I took pictures of everything in a row to share with you what I saw.
My walk began on Taganskaya street. Here I drew attention to the neighborhood of historical and modern buildings.
Taganskaya Square. On the left is the lobby of the Taganskaya metro station, and on the right is the building of the Taganka Theater:
I photographed the building of the Taganka Theater again, a little closer, from the side of Upper Radishchevskaya Street:
I wanted to go straight ahead, to the Yauza River, but on the right, in the depths of Vysotsky Street, I saw graffiti and decided to get closer to it.
Vysotsky Street appeared on the map of Moscow recently - in the summer of 2015. Then it was decided to perpetuate the memory of a talented actor and rename the Lower and Upper Tagansky Dead Ends into Vladimir Vysotsky Street.
This is a very short street - only 375 meters, but everything there reminds of Vysotsky: the service entrances of the Taganka Theater, where he served, a restaurant and a museum named after him, a huge graffiti.
Museum of Vladimir Vysotsky:
In Moscow, all roads lead to the center. Soon I came to a high-rise residential building on Kotelnicheskaya embankment!
This house was built after World War II. There are seven similar houses in Moscow.
The same house, but from a different angle:
Moskvoretskaya embankment:
Along the Moskvoretskaya embankment, I came to the Zaryadye landscape park. There is a real flower madness in the park now! An incredible number of small multi-colored chrysanthemums were planted there. It turned out bright and beautiful!
It's beautiful in Zaryadye Park! In the entire history of Moscow's existence, there have been many things in this place - a merchant quarter, a Jewish one, city slums, and a huge hotel! Over time, all this disappeared. And I am very glad that the decision was made to make a multi-level park in the very center of the city. I can imagine how wonderful it will be here when the trees grow!
But I did not linger in Zaryadye, I passed it and ended up on Red Square.
It is absolutely impossible to walk past St. Basil's Cathedral and not take a picture of it! I couldn't resist and took the 100,000th photo.
Very beautiful temple! You agree with me?
Now is that rare moment when you can see Red Square in its original form! All summer festivals are over, and winter ones have not yet begun, and there are no additional facilities on the square. But it won't last long. Already in early November, the installation of the GUM ice rink and the Christmas market will begin.
In the meantime, on the main square of the country like this:
This is where my walk ended. I got on the subway and went home.
In the end, I walked quite a decent number of steps!
Thank you all for your attention and support!
Have a good evening.
Moscow city center is so beautiful to look at, neatly arranged and clean.
Moscow is a very clean city! Even the outskirts are clean and tidy there.
Yes it looks real, I love being in Cities like this.
Beautiful photo tour, excellent images, so much history in some of those buildings... Thanks for sharing
