Walk in the forest, Mushrooms and Cantarion flowers- Wednesday Walk

in Wednesday Walk5 months ago

Hello everyone.
Today we decided to go for a walk in near by forest and look for Mushrooms and collect some Kantarion flowers. We knew that possibility of founding any kind of mushrooms is very small but we went anyway. If nothing it would be super refreshing walk in the forest. Also while going to the forest we decided to collect some Kantarion flowers. Kantarion or Hypericum perforatum will be used as tea and oil.

At the end we found some Kantarion flowers, had a nice walk around forest on the fresh air.
Me and my brother know this forest very well. So while looking for mushrooms of course you go off the trails.

Couple of snails.

At some places there is more light and trees are competing to reach first there.

When you look for the mushrooms you usually dont follow the forest trails.

Some forest roads are not used as frequent as before.

Quite interesting tree.

And after we finished our mushroom adventure (we did not find any mushrooms) we started looking for the Kantarion flowers. And we very quick to find some flowers.

We gathered Kantarion flowers and headed home.
It was very enjoyable walk through the forest.

It must be cool to just wander around the forest and find some mushrooms and kantarion flowers to have something to consume later. I wish I could do that here in the city, especially since the prices of goods are expensive. 😅

What kind of mushrooms are you looking for, and how do you use them?

It is nice when you have place to relax while looking for useful plants and mushrooms

This time we look for Blancaccio (Lactifluus piperatus) and Chanterelle (Cantharellus cibarius). Just frying them in the pan or maybe some mushroom pie. Chanterelle are tasty and very healthy. Blancaccio are semi edible and have a bit sour taste (maybe not everyone is liking them). There are other edible mushrooms at this time but we stick with these ones.

That's cool! The mushroom we usually consume is the one we find at supermarkets, and it's quite expensive for each can.

I would like to try the mushroom pie. I'm intrigued what it tastes like haha

@palomap3 thank you
have a nice day
