Here is a trip to a farm with the baby for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
We love going to this farm to look at the chickens.
Do chickens have sharp talons?
A tame one even came by and the baby got to see her first chicken. She looked critically at it wondering if it was another stuffed animal she could grab and use as a teething device.
The next sight was a bunch of sheep with some lambs. Today was sheering day.
Here one of the moms got sheered and now the lambs can nurse again.
This sheep was about to be shorn and came by for some head scratches. Another first for the baby, a tangled looking sheep.
Cows were our next stop. This one was running to the shade barn. Its finally getting warm around here.
There were a couple of calfs too. They wanted a bottle.
The baby got a close-up view of the calf. She almost got her first cow lick too lol.
Giant draft horses were next. They love ear scratches too and wait by the fence for attention.
These guys were too large for the baby to comprehend. They probably just looked like a huge looming shadow of some sort.
Its getting hot now and all the animals are hiding in whatever shade they can. We better head home before the baby gets hungry.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
That’s a cute farm walk 😁 !luv all the animals 😍

It was a nice perfect spring day, I'm sure the sheep were happy to be trimmed now that the heat is hitting. I'm sure we'll be bringing the baby here often to see the animals.
That’s a nice activity for sure. Getting baby used to various, amazing creatures of this Earth 💙
My wife and I both grew up in the country with various farm animals to take care of so we have to try and continue the tradition somehow lol.
Wow... This farm has everything you need in a farm and I especially love how neat and tidy everywhere looks. It's an amazing sight to behold. Haha.
Baby just started an adventure. Lolz. That's a very interesting walk. Nice pictures too.
Its a historical farm where they still use farm processes from the 1800s. The sheep get sheered by hand and they use the horses to plow the fields. I'm sure the baby will be visiting here often lol.
Baby is already starting life with an original taste of adventure. Haha. It's good to know that farms like these are still out there.
what a cute walk for you both the animals seem so friendly
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk, its my pleasure to host it and see all the posts each week from all around the world, including yours, if you have time visit some of the other walks this week there are so many interesting ones
They are all quite tame except for the stinky pigs lol. They just wanted to wallow plus I wouldn't dare pet one anyway.
LOL i wouldnt pet them either ;LOL
Awesome getting out with your baby 👍 You need an animal sounds book so your child can study up haha
One of those talking books is definitely on the list. For now she is still on crnkly fabric books.
Texture is definitely big with young babies right now 👍 I was thinking old school like the see and say that you pull the string lol
I wonder if they still make those things or if its all app based now.
How cool for your daughter! All the animals look so healthy. Did she have a favorite?
I think she liked the calf the most.
Cool!
We'll have to try and find a rabbit show around here as one of those might end up being her first pet eventually.
I hope you find a nice one for her. :))
Very cute! She's at that age where she's going to start enjoying these trips.
We have to figure out ways to use up her energy so she can sleep through the night. Stroller walks seem to do the trick.
Good plan!
