I doubt I will ever make it there, my travelling long distance days are over, but having spent time in other parts of Asia and in the big cities I can imagine how crazy the traffic is

Yeah the government plans to extend the train to the other parts of the city in the future, but I guess it will take time. The first 13km took 9 years to finish for some reasons.
It seems its common all around the world whenever the government is involved it always takes so long, but hopefully the extension can be done a lot quicker
