Wednesday Walk - Paskamansett Landing

Now don't be too shocked I am actually sharing a walk from a few days ago
I had booke dmy car into Midas for an oil change took my car for an Oil and as the temp was 42F I thought why not take my camera and go for a little walk while they are working on my car
Now I normally say I will only walk if the real feel is 45 or above but I had not been out for a walk for so long i just looked at actual temp, put on some layers and after dropping off my car I went for a little walk.
I didnt check the real feel temp till after the walk, and I will get to that further in the ost, but my mind just doesnt grasp the fact that on some days even with the sun being partially out bewtween clouds the temp can drop during the day, like i said before i left home the temp was 42, when I finished this walk and went intot he waiting room at Midas and checked the temp it had dropped to 27F with a real feel of 28 by that time which explained why I was feelign so cold.
It got into my shoulder which has bene lettign me know its not happy since this walk ,its a bit better today but last couple of days I have bene barely able to move it.
Also the main reason I dont go out when its cold is breathing in the cold air doesnt do well for me even since i had TB, I find myselg gettign very chesty if I do go out in the cold for too long, fortunately i want out for to too long and only felt a little chesty the next day.
But enough of an intro what did I see on my little walk
By the Midas buildign is this view of a small water fall

I walkend into a small park called Paskamansett Landing which is just down the road a little from Midas, the other side of that waterfall
THis is a Grinding stone from an old Grist Mill that was in the area, A grist mill is a building or machine that grinds grains into flour, meal, or animal feed. The term "grist" refers to grain that has been separated from its chaff.

I noticed a few Bird houses in the park, but they werent in good shape

and I took my 50-400 Lens with me on this trip just to get this shot of a Wind Vane across the road from the park

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.
I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

I think you enjoyed your walk in the park. I hope someone will repair the bird house. I also liked the small waterfall. You noticed some beautiful objects in your walk. Most of us forget to enjoy the beautiful things around us.
it was nice to get a walk in, and yesif we look for it there is beauty all around us
The wind has been quite nasty lately. That wind chill can really kick your butt. Good luck with your shoulder! I've been going to PT for mine for a couple of weeks now.

I did seea PT maybe 2 years ago and they gave me some exercises to do, I have bene doing the ones I remember fairly regularly
I ewas goign to try one of those TENS electronic pulsy devices, but after i bought it and read the guide it said not to use if you have amdominal hernias which I do and its only worse after the surgery, I was goign to check with the Dr at my colonoscopy if it was Ok to use it for my shoulder but thats bene delayed till April
But my Shoulder has bene a little better so maybe its all good
I've been going twice a week plus he gives me some exercises to do at home. I've seen those TENS machines, but they kind of scare me too. My guy has been doing dry needling on me which is kind of like acupuncture.
I tempted fat by saying my shoulder was feeling better, I had a package delivered today that was heavy and pulled my shoulder a bit, of course that was after i visited my Doctor today for yearly checkup, i did mention my shoulder but declined a refferal for now, lets see how it is in a week
I had acupuncture done on my shoulder years ago in Singapore and it did wonders
Don't wait too long. Living with pain isn't a good thing. I know the constant appointments can be a pain, but the alternative isn't worth it.

The wait for the service was a little over an hour, I only wealked for maybe 20 minutes as the temp quickly dropped and I wated the rest of the time inthe warm waiting room
It's amazing how the temperature has dropped since you started the hike until you finished, I'm not surprised you were cold

It is a beautiful landscape, and accompanied by your detailed description it is as if one were walking through it as well.
I was quite struck by the drinking fountain on the ground.

It's too cold to go out! You should take care of yourself! But how beautiful the foam of the water and those colours of the vegetation, although this fish in the weather vane is wonderful!!!! What a nice ride!!!🤗

You have to be careful of the cold... but walks are good for your health.... balance
Being out walking feels like escaping for a short while, pity the wind came through so nasty to bring problems to the arm again.
Water breaking over looks cold, bird bath (if it is that) also frozen, indication your Winter has not bade you farewell yet!
Ohh no winter if anything has taken a stronger hold lets hope it moves on soon

The lens you using for this is very sharp, the photos are beautiful, seems i was taking the wall with you because of how you narrate every pictures
