Wednesday Walk Snowy Hazelwood Park

This post if for Wednesday walk challenge
Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;)

For thsi weeks post I will share a walk I took one afternoon in a small Park here called Hazelwood Park

I had parked by my grand daughters school and walked up to the park, entering by this building, which I think sometimes hosts events for the aged community and also has lawn bowling greens at the back

Hazelwood Park is a public park opened in 1840 on Clark's Point in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The park occupies a plot of 23 acres on the west side of New Bedford's southern peninsula, between Rodney French Boulevard and Brock Avenue. It overlooks Clark's Cove which opens into Buzzards Bay

As you can see we had a recent snow fall but not to much and it was already melting away

Weekly giveaway of shares

This week I am sending to the following who joined Wednesday Walk, for this week I did a random draw and the following each received some Hive @kyyyys @marsventure @heyitsjian @rem-steem @josiva #ellenripley

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.

This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines

Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.

Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.

Try and get a few shots not just one

Add a bit of a write up about where you walked

Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week

You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.

Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss

Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .

Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.

I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules

I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

Good morning dear friend @tattoodjay
What a great place for a walk, beautiful park, you have taken beautiful photos.
Thank you very much for sharing this Wednesday walk.
Have a beautiful morning

Thanks so much and have a great day

Oh I think no one would dare to sit at the bench with the cold weather.

Ah, saying goodbye to winter soon, no wonder it's starting to get 🔥 here in tropical country.

LOL I agree no one would sit there, I am looking forward to it warming up a bit here ;)

Great park with beautiful natural things. Wonderful rooms with awesome designs. All clicks are nice.

Even though it looks cold, I love the contrast of the beautiful blue sky against the white of the snow!

Thank you for sharing these photos with us!

Interesting building. The gray shake shingles on the sides fit the mood of winter and the snow. Benches in winter are kind of like lifeguard towers in the offseason. They seem to be waiting for the people to return and the seasons to turn.

I am getting up and walking later on today for sure.

Supposed to get up to 6 Celsius again today so i have to walk while the weather is mild, and get in the last few wintery wednesdays before the spring comes.

I am looking forward ot spring, well I would be happy if we climbed a bit above freezingits bene below freezing point for a week now, but looks like it will be warming up next week

Excellent shots, really beautiful photos, you are a good photographer, congratulations, best regards 🙋🙋🙋

Thanks so much ,I appreciate your kind support,
Have a good day

take me to this park!

What a special touch the snow gives to the environment, I love the image of the bench, it's beautiful. Thank you very much for this nice Wednesday walk!😃

Thank you for all your support and congratulations on your initiative.

Wonderful pictures of the snowy park, glad you got the chance to go out and enjoy the fresh air. Being out in nature is therapeutic and healing. Thank you for sharing and keep enjoying the weekend :}

Still, it’s nice when there is snow, but not much of it, no snowdrifts. And it all looks so nice and well-groomed.

It is the perfect place to have a walk and have a bond with your family and friends.Despite the snow that covers the park it is still a beautiful place to have a walk

Here, we're dealing with a cumulous of dust and sun intensity, pre-spring too... There, a beautifully filter of winter temperature and landscapes. Lovely, my talented friend @tattoodjay
