RE: World Photography Contest- FORESTS OF THE WORLD

Drones do offer an interesting perspective, don't they? I'd love to try one but, between the price and my vision, I'd be afraid it wouldn't last long. A professional videographer was using one here in Mankato and it almost got taken out by a hungry eagle. Apparently, you're supposed to be able to fly, compose a a shot, and also keep the drone in your sights all at the same time.

Sort:

Jeff had a hawk do a flyby of his drone, but he didn't get the camera turned fast enough to get photos of the bird. Keeping it in sight would be challenging for me. Jeff had to keep pointing out where it was. It becomes a tiny spec and I kept losing it.

They really over-regulated them in the USA if I could use a VR headset to fly one from first person perspective, it would be amazing. Legally, that requires having another person as a spotter and staying in their line of sight.
