For every moment of pain there is always at least one tear gone in the vast ocean of emotions. This facepainting done by me represents this kind of moments in our lives.
I think that crying is not always a bad thing to do. People look at it as being a sign of weakness and most of them consider it is better to suck it up and act like strong adults who don't care. I think it is wrong to supress emotions and pretend you are ok when you are not.
Crying in a moment of pain can release the tension, the stress. A short monsoon of tears can clean up the land. Interesting thing about tears : their chemical composition is different when we compare tears caused by emotions versus tears for lubrication. The emotional tears contain more protein based hormons and natural painkillers. When you shed a tear, that tear is formed from water, salt, fatty acids and over 1500 proteins. Imagine! Our own body helps us to release emotional tears to comfort us when no one does it. That is why crying can help, it just makes you sooth yourself in moment of distress.
Everyone has a little Lady Ocean in them. The tears go from the cheeks and then we transform. From all that ocean of pain and tears we rise, stronger and better. Because monsoons and storms never last forever.
This facepainting took 3 hours to make.
Have a great day and toodle loo!

The ''Men do not cry'' has got to go! Many men suffer from severe mental issues by just piling up their emotions inside and when those emotions come to surface, they act like an atomic bomb, and the person doesn't even know what the hell is going on. Crying is a very useful for balancing out feelings and the chaos we have inside of us. Men cry too! <3
I so agree with this! So many men were educated to shut down emotions and be tough, ruthless, move on. It is so damaging for them. I believe that there is nothing wrong in men crying and showing they are in pain, they are human just like us.
I actually have so much respect and I am deeply touched when a guy shows emotions. I do not consider it a shame, a lack of manhood or humiliating. I actually find it very brave, sensitive and heartwarming. It shows he cares and that he does have this emotional side.
I think society imposed this model of the shutdown man. The man who does not show regret. Very bad for the mental health. Imagine all the relationships, marriages, which were not saved because men thought it is not manly to show they suffer. So they picked their ego, blocked the pain, only to move on carrying a heavy baggage of pain.
We should never humiliate one other, man or woman, for showing off emotions and crying. Never.
Thanks so much for reading!
Definitely! I rather find the opposite side to be weak as they don't have the courage to say ''I fucked up''.
Wow. So Beautiful.

Pain makes us stronger and like the colors pain makes our life colorful.
Hey! Going through hardships in life can build endurance. I think it is good to not let us turn bitter and to actually be able to forgive those who caused us suffering. They were probably suffering too.
Thanks so much for reading!
I think that you can be sad a long time, but if you are sad and you cry, that time can be reduced. You remind me a poem by Julio Cortázar:
You can read it in his book Cronopios and Famas.
It is very nice when people reminds you poetry.
Hey! What a lovely way to answer to a post with poetry! I love it! You are very thoughtful I like it, thank you very much Alejandra😊
Words truly spoken emotions are such a great release of stress a tear or two helps all 😊
