Greetings, friends. Here is my latest painting dadicated to my mother. I made a picture for the portrait, because we live in a different cities. I tried to catch her look and expression of her face. This is the most important thing to me when I start painting a portrait of some person. I prepared my palette with some basic oil colours like ochra, yellow, white, cinnober to start painting. The weather was qiute good and sunny outside on the balcony. I made the basic tone on the face, then I started paintig some details, like eyes, eyebrows and etc. It is pretty interesting to me when I have to paint the eyes wide opened and their glind. Also the most lightened parts on the face. I finished ths artpiece by making the scarf and dark hair. There are some steps of the process.
