I don't really understand the Tylor Swift hype. I like Florence though. 'Heavy in my arms' I think it was first song I have heard form her :)

Miss Welch is a force of nature. She's a hurricane of a human being and had an incredible aura when I was lucky enough to see her live a few years ago.
Her exploration of water in all her work is fascinating. The historical references, amazing; and the story telling fills my mind with such vivid pictures. It's so inspirational.
I want the song "No Choir" to be played at my funeral one day. Dang it, typing that brought tears to my eyes after going and reading the lyrics. I'm stupid! :D
No worries! I have long lasting crash on Thom York from Radiohead. I admire his compositional talent, how well he plays piano especialy, his lyrics, his stage behaviour.
From time to time I move my admiration to Ian Curtis of Joy Division, and then I come back to Thom again:)
But Florence is indeed something!
I'm a creep, I'm a weird-ooooo
What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here...
I like the name more than the music :D
Mark me if you will, it will not change my feelings!
Joy Division - have you heard the story of the name - it is quite gruesome...
Wow, I just looked that up, and what a story.
I didn't know it stemmed from that, but in my mind it was more of a philosophical thing like "The Division Bell" from Pink Floyd, et al; like the seperation of life from death, etc.
Oh yeah, it is tough one. Plus original name was Warsaw(capital of Poland), but the producer told them to change. So the change, and thankfully the producer didn't had thorough knowledge from WW2 🙃
Nor did these VW marketing people.
