Hello guys,
My name is Kalu Chima and l am better addressed by my crypto blogging ID mr-sarriball especially in scorum. Hey, l guess you must have heard about @scorum; a sports blogging blockchain just like Hive. Why Mr-Sarri?. It was a name a choosed when registering on scorum due to the game style of former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri. Anyways, I heard about Hive almost 2 years ago when l registered but unfortunately l lost my login key. So, I tried everything possible to get back my key but something was wrong somewhere. The key l used all of a sudden started showing error messages. Even after contacting the admin, I could not be helped..With that frustration and other schedules, l lost interest in Hive out of anger.
However, some few days ago after posting my blog in scorum, l saw one of my buddy pasted a link made by @lighteye in The Chess Community which was mainly about chess tournament in Hive. It caught my interest and l decided to join.
I have been playing chess for over 6 years now since I was introduced to the game back in my university days in 2014. I got interest in the game especially in the design of the pieces, the colour and the board design. After getting closer, one of the strongest players @Noblechuks on Lichess told me a lot of story about the pieces, how It moves and as well the story of the Roman empire where it was very crucial in going into war or play a political chess. So, I got intrigued by this having seen this board game on several movies, l decide to learn how to play the game. Ever since then whenever I have the opportunity to play, I play with some friends when I go out to watch football or something else but mainly I play with my phone on lichess with the ID @Freeman 21. I currently rank of 1850 from 1934 . This may be poor ranking but I hope to meet strong hands here that I will learn a lot from as I decided to improve on my game recently after watching Magnus carlsen draw three times with Nepo few days ago. I have read of about chess tournaments here and how tough players are going by the lichess ranking and l am looking forward to one of those games.
About myself
I'm the first son of 3 boys of my parents. As funny as it may sound my mother didn't give birth to a female child even though I would have love to have a sister but nobody can question the creator. I'm currently completing my master degree in environmental microbiology. Yes, I love microorganisms and the laboratory environmental especially the beautiful view under the microscope or in the petri dish. I'm a scientist that love everything science.
Hobbies
Right from my childhood, my hobbies have continued to change with age and time. While growing up, l loved my drawing class and l drew a whole lot. On some days l play street soccer with my friends and up till today, football remains one of my favourite hobbies aside playing chess. Over here in Nigeria, a lot of fans are Chelsea supporters and l was influenced to support the club when the likes of Drogba, Michael Essien and Mikel Obi were there. Yesterday game against Watford nearly was an upset but we were lucky to get all three points. l remain a die heart fan. I love watching WWE some of the times because it was one of the childhood entertainment l grew up watching. I love cooking as well, oh yea. I told you my mum never had a female child and yes, as the first son, there is barely any house chores l can't do. Reading and research top my list. As an introvert, l enjoy my private time mediating on several things.
Conclusion
I am looking forward to spending quality time on hive blockchain by posting quality content especially football contents and write extensively about chess, it's history, the icons that have graced the game as well tutorial on the basics movement of pieces. I can't do all of these without your your support here.

Please check some of your links to names, they are not working. Remember that if you put a @ in front of anything it refers to hive.blog/@... or any other GUI which the user is using. If you want to refer to lichess you have to put the correct link. And big letters are different than small ones (at lichess), on hive there are only small letters for names.
