Today was a day for internal medicine and psychiatry visits. It was a cold day, but I was able to go outside rather easily today. So I took the bus to Shijo-Karasuma, went to the bank first, and then went to the internal medicine clinic.
When I entered the internal medicine clinic, I was shocked to see a sign on the reception desk. To my surprise, there was a greeting saying that the clinic was closing. The receptionist just told me that the clinic was closing and that I should ask the doctor for more details during my examination.
I went in for my examination after having my urine and blood drawn as usual.

It was the same as last month. I told him that I sometimes ate a full meal. The doctor entered “no improvement” in the electronic medical record. I was disappointed that I could not get any results despite my best efforts.
The director told me that he was closing the clinic due to his age and health. After the closure, all medical services will be taken over by a new clinic that just opened last April across the main street from the current clinic. I will be receiving treatment at the new clinic from April.
Then I walked to the mental clinic. There was casework first. The main question was, “What should I do to continue painting as long as I can paint for the rest of my life? After all, I thought that painting materials were expensive. Of course, I try to find inexpensive places to buy them, but I still think they are expensive. I thought about it a lot, but this time I couldn't come up with an answer.
Then came the doctor's examination. I showed him the file that contained the closing greeting and information about the new clinic that I had received from my internal medicine doctor. The doctor looked at the pictures of the doctors on the file and said “You are so young” three times.
Then I went to the pharmacy to get some medicine and left.

本日は内科と精神科の通院日でした。寒い日でしたが、今日は割とすんなり外に出られました。で、バスに乗って四条烏丸へ行き、まずは銀行へ行って、内科へ行きました。
内科のクリニックの中に入ると、受付の貼り紙にショックを受けました。なんと、クリニックを閉院するというご挨拶が書かれていました。受付の人は閉院するということを言っただけで、詳細は診察の時に先生から聞いてくださいと言われました。
いつも通りに採尿、採血をして診察にのぞみました。

先月と変わりませんでした。私は時々お腹いっぱい食べてしまったと言いました。先生は電子カルテに「改善傾向なし」と記入しました。なんか、頑張っても成果が出ないなあとがっかりしました。
それで閉院の件ですが、院長が年齢と健康のこともあって閉院されるとのことでした。閉院後は今かかっているクリニックから大通りを渡ったところの昨年４月に開院したばかりのクリニックにすべての診療を引き継いでもらうことになったそうです。メンタルクリニックからも近いし、今まで通り治療を続けられそうだったので、引き継いでもらえたのは幸いでした。4月から新しいクリニックで診療を受けます。
それから徒歩でメンタルクリニックへ行きました。先にケースワークがありました。主な内容は「残りの人生は絵さえ描けたらいいので描き続けるにはどうすればいいか」ということでした。何しろ画材が高いと思って。もちろん安い店とか探して買っているのですがそれでも高いと思って。色々考えたけれど今回は答えが出ませんでした。
そして先生の診察でした。内科の先生からもらった閉院のご挨拶と新しいクリニックの資料の入ったファイルを見せました。先生は資料に載っている先生方の写真を見て「若いなあ」を３回ぐらい言っていました。
そして薬局で薬をもらって帰りました。
