Reality often shows us faces, facets, stories under a cloak of truth when in reality it is not. And also many times our own mind is clouded in the face of life circumstances and we cannot see certain things.
Sometimes because of blockages we have and sometimes because reality is very strong, we find it difficult to remove the veil that prevents us from seeing, to really see, because it can often be very hard.
It is only by removing that veil that we can be free to choose what to see, to take paths and decisions and even be better prepared for what we see. But of course that will always be each person's choice.
Removing the veil can also refer to developing what is our intuition, our third eye to be able to have a better perception of life and help us in our day to day life, to see our inner self, to improve and evolve.
Design process
I composed the design with five images arranged in 18 layers using the AI-free Photoshop CS6 programme.
For the background I used an image of a wall where lights are reflected and another one of a blue curtain to which I added the soft light fusion.
On top of this I placed the image of the person resting a hand on a cloth with the strong light blending. Then I selected only the hand and I copied and pasted it several times generating several layers of hands to which I changed the position and scale and I put the multiply fusion to all of them.
Then I worked on the image of the woman in several layers. In some I erased the background, in some I left only the face and in others only the decoration of the head. The fusions I used for the different layers are: lighter colour, soft light, focal light, raster and normal.
Afterwards I worked on the curtain that I used before as a background to cover the face a little bit. For this I deformed it with the tools of edition-transform so that it gives the appearance that it covers the face and I placed the fusion of normal.
Finally I used the image of the folded curtain that I placed over one of the woman's eyes and under one of the head decoration layers, I adjusted the scale and the position and I didn't use blending in this case, I left it in normal mode.
The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.
Due to 3speak not working, I uploaded the animation to my YouTube channel to show you the complete work.

La realidad muchas veces nos muestra caras, facetas, historias bajo un manto de verdad cuando en realidad no es tal. Y también muchas veces nuestra propia mente esta nublada frente a circunstancias de la vida y no podemos ver ciertas cosas.
Unas veces por bloqueos que tenemos y otras porque la realidad es muy fuerte, nos cuesta quitar el velo que nos impide ver, ver de verdad, porque muchas veces puede ser muy duro.
Solamente quitando ese velo es que podemos ser libres de elegir que ver, tomar caminos y decisiones y hasta estar mejor preparados frente a lo que vemos. Pero por supuesto siempre eso será elección de cada persona.
Quitar el velo también puede referirse a desarrollar lo que es nuestra intuición, nuestro tercer ojo para poder tener una mejor percepción de la vida y nos ayude en nuestro día a día, ver nuestro interior, mejorar y evolucionar.
Proceso del diseño
El diseño lo compuse con cinco imágenes dispuestas en 18 capas mediante el programa de Photoshop CS6 libre de IA.
Para el fondo usé una imagen de una pared donde se reflejan luces y otra de un telón color azul a la cual le coloqué la fusión de luz suave.
Sobre lo anterior puse la imagen de la persona apoyando una mano sobre una tela con la fusión de luz fuerte. Luego seleccioné solo la mano y la copié y pegué varias veces generando así varias capas de manos a las cuales les cambié la posición y la escala y les coloqué a todas, la fusión de multiplicar.
Luego trabaje la imagen de la mujer en varias capas. En algunas borré el fondo, en algunas sólo dejé el rostro y en otras sólo el decorado de la cabeza. Las fusiones que usé para las diversas capas son: color más claro, luz suave, luz focal, trama y normal.
Posteriormente trabajé el telón que antes usé como fondo para tapar un poco el rostro. Para ello lo deformé con las herramientas de edición-transformar para que de la apariencia que tapa el rostro y le coloqué la fusión de normal.
Finalmente usé la imagen del telón plegado que coloqué sobre uno de los ojos de la mujer y debajo de una de las capas de decorado de la cabeza, ajuste la escala y la posición y no usé fusiones en este caso, lo dejé en modo normal.
La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
Debido a la falta de funcionamiento de 3speak, subí la animación a mi canal de YouTube para poder mostrarles el trabajo completo.

I can think of so many things to say about this... I almost always go by intuition, when I don't, things don't go so well... I remember in particular one instance where my heart was telling me get out of there, get out of there, free yourself and in the meantime, obstacles and discomforts were constantly popping up, but I was holding on and staying in the same place, weighing other things and putting aside my well being. I had an intention with being there (I wanted to help people), but what I didn't think clearly was that I could achieve it in many other ways. And since the Universe doesn't want us to be unhappy, it knocks down everything that doesn't do us good, even if it's in the worst way, so that we realize that we have to think of ourselves first in order to give to others.
And in the end I'm glad for all that learning, even if at the time it felt very bad for me.
As always your work is very interesting and achieves its purpose, to make us reflect.

My intuition has also told me to be strong and resist when I am facing a big shadow or darkness, in which many things I can't quite understand... things that make me very sad, but my intuition speaks to me again and tells me to do something beautiful with that sadness and to take care of me and to connect with something bigger.

Well, this reflects me those people who go through life with a blindfold on their eyes to many things that happen in their reality and prefer to ignore them and this can be for many reasons, to avoid pain, problems or simply because they do not have how to help.
I also see how the mind can be full of a lot of garbage and that sometimes we can release it and it is very difficult for us and we prefer to hide behind curtains or walls.
