I am humbled and stunned beyond words by your efforts on this piece. You've captured the essence of the original image in an extradentary fashion, and triggered a twang of narcissism I didn't know existed until I saw this.
How many hours did you spend on this, portraying my terrifying visage?
I have to admit that it is difficult to draw someone I have not seen in person. I've been watching your streams, and like every person - you always look a bit different:)
Originally, I really wanted to use the photo with the hen because it is absolutely beautiful! (hen I mean!)
Plus the reflections of others can be seen in your glasses - which seemed very appropriate in the context of your interests.
Nevertheless - I have a weakness for the eyes as a part of the body in general (mainly because of their complexity, not 'because they are so pretty') and they give an intimacy to the portrait.
Narcisse away, this is your moment, enjoy it!
I was working through the weekend, couldn't possibly tell you exactly. But it was cool to get to draw a beard, not sure if I ever tried that before:)
My wife wants this to be framed. Do you have the original? We can pay for postage. I'll keep upvoting your stuff forever!
Not a problem at all, you can drop your address in peakd-chat if you can trust me this much:)
Upvote when you think my work is worth it, not as a thank you for picture. Plus - it is yours, you have won it, fair and square:)
I tried to message you through peakd-chat but I was peak "boomer" and couldn't figure it out. I followed you on Twitter with my "holoz0r" account over there if you want to DM (I couldn't DM you) and I'll supply you with the address of the place where I sleep in fitful bouts of time defined as "not enough".
Never worry! I've sent you DM on Twitter:)
I hope my package doesn't disturb your rhythm too much:)
Replied!
Nice!
I sent follow up question, when you get a chance:)
Still, I remain humbled. My wife hasn't seen this yet. I'll let you know her reply.
I am super excited then too!
