RE: Human?

We've done a lot to the house since we purchased it. We've got fans that use centrifugal force to hide their blades when not in use, so they appear to be pendant lights. We've got solar panels, we've got painted walls, we've got ART on the wall (soon, one of your pieces, too - though it will be strange to walk past my own face every day) - and the most important element, my beard hairs probably slowly clogging up all the drains as I lose hair like some sort of wild animal.

Sort:

Those fans sounds like really cool thing. In UK you don't really need that thing, unless you live in tin can :D It's chilly most of the time, so if anything - heating would be a priority :)

I will be a member of the elite 'Art' group in your home! I am truly honoured.

I think you should hang a mirror next to your portrait and pose every day to see how you change over time.
I have a strange feeling that in this photo you are standing in classic superman pose with your hands on your hips and your chest pushed forward. Did you?

Hairs are the worst. I wore my hair short for several years and it was the happiest time of my life(maybe not life, superficiality at least) - and above all, not much hair hanging around everywhere.

Now I wear it long because I'm too lazy and too frugal to go to the hairdresser's every month and my hair with my cats' hair together seals the house(one cat is mine, the other is stray, but that doesn't stop him in adding its own tufts to the already accumulated mountain).

I haven't had a barber or hair dresser touch my hair in over 15 years now. My wife shaved it a few times. The pose for this photo is quite a simple one... there's a behind the scenes...

I just stood like a regal subject should. This was my lounge room about... 4 years ago? The piece of Art on the wall in the background is one I purchased from another HIVE user via a print on demand service. I quite like it. Its a ballerina with her head exploding into a fine mist. It's a 1 of 100, signed :) Proper art collector, me.

Great set up!
You knew I will ask about picture, right?
The picture looks great, very much Beksinski style I think.

Rembrandt set up for the lighting :D I like Caravaggio, though

Perfect lighting!
I think I prefer Rembrandt over Caravaggio, although I don't think it is possible to compare those two.
