[일상잡기 20-22] 마늘과 파

육쪽마늘은 시원찮아도
스페인 종자 마늘은 봐 줄만 하다.
이 종자를 사다 심은지 3년이 지났으니
이제 토착화 됐으리라.

지난 해는 마늘이 대풍이라
품값도 못 건지고 지인들에게 인심이나 썼다.
올핸 딱 품값만 건져도 좋겠다.

지난 늦가을에 심은 쪽파.
이쁘게 올라 왔다.
때 되면 잊지 않고 올라 와 주는 저 생명력.
우리네 삶도 정신줄만 단디 잡고 있으면
곧 물이 오를거다.
