Well hello Ancient one that's been driving forever! Nice wanker parking job! hehe. If you are irritated by that, you would really love Alberta's parking wankers especially on a busy Saturday afternoon! We would call this job "first time driver parking". Here wanker parking is named the "d-bag park jobs" where a vehicle will park like that but take 2 spots instead parked across. Angled on a strait park or strait on an angle park.
Now I was not severely impacted by this wanker parking story but this one was epic and funny to be on the outside edge. What happens when it's an entire collective of them? Lets dive in.
While visiting the Rockies, some of the car parks are large lots that can fit hundreds of car, as big as you find at a popular supermarket. The place gets really busy and folks have to park in an overflow lot and walk half a km up the road to get to the favorite location. Well we came out from our hike and instead of the double parking row so that every car can back out on their respective end, there was 3 rows that formed instead blocking the entire middle legal parking middle row trapped on the inside sandwiched between two rows waiting for wanker parkers to finish their hike and move their car before they could leave. Now this wasn't one off guy...it was an entire 50+ car row as every other visitor that couldn't follow normal parking common sense continued the wanker parking trend.
We were on an outside edge but when we left, it was in full swing and funny because I wasn't trapped in a car park for hours waiting for someone to finish their hike to be able to leave and carry on my day unlike many frustrated others.
I reckon there's loads of stories like this, ignorant assholes who don't give a fuck about anyone but themselves affecting others in negative ways. I don't get why people have to be so selfish, although it's a fairly common trait in humans I suppose.
Thanks for sharing your parking wanker story.
