The doctor was about to use his scalpel on the arm of Sarah. Sarah screamed,"don't amputate". All she was thinking about was her art, her painting. She wanted to keep using brushes with her arm. This is when the doctor got the idea, an alternative treatment to cure Sarah's disease. Finally, she was able to give her full dedication to her art. The clutch moment saved her arm or perhaps it was her art that gave her a new life.
