Freewrite Dailyprompt 2621 applied for a wrong job
My friend Siraj from the beginning he had been very ambitious. On the one day that the protagonist was at the cafe, he was all enter up with his new plan. “I have got a new job vacancy,” with this he was full of hope and told me that he has applied. A week later he called, he sounded like a young boy embarrassed yet very much confused. I recalled how some people love starting a conversation with such words like; “You won’t believe it,” he said. Imagine saying, “I applied for the wrong job! What do you mean? I asked, trying not to laugh.
Well, I didn’t know it was a marketing position,’ Ah well, it seems it is for a software developer! They asked for an interview and I was clueless as to what they were talking about,” he laughed on. However, being confused siraj opted to attend the interview, since he perceived it as an opportunity to gain new experience. To the interviewer’s surprise, he said what he envisaged to do and expressed quite a lot of interest in the position. At least, Clive did not get the post while Siraj left with a smile on his face. “At the very least I managed to get loads of material for an interesting story,” he said.
