It's been a fortnight of constant stealing in the basement. Food items kept missing at will. The head teacher had tried all her possible best to see if the culprits will be apprehended but all to no avail. Even the refectory perfect and the chief cook ave done their own beat, yet the problem kept persisting.
One day, Jonas decided to try his own tactics. He left the dormitory few minutes to midnight, all alone and hid behind the stached bags of rice and other cereals. He was there till almost half past twelve when he noticed some movement into the store house. The intruder has a flashlight. It was a piercing light indeed as he flashed same at every corner of the store. Jonas kept his cool.
Then the intruder waded into the hall with a sack. He went straight to the rice section and scooped as many as possible. Then proceeded towards the area yams were stored. Jonas, like a trained wrestler swooped on him and glued him to the table. The intruder was taken by surprise as he never expected a living being to be in there by that time of the day. With his cellphone, Jonas took some pictures of him and then ordered him to March towards the dormitory for everyone to see who has been stealing students' food items. Guess who he was....the chief cook himself.

wow.. what a lovely short tale, it is usually surprising when a thief is revealed, it is like the case of the person meant to secure is the one of which the items should be secured from.
