Life inside a storm
But one dives right into it
One goes to the shore
Life inside the sun
One avoids going in it
But one melts away
Life inside money
One kills a brother for it
Trades his family
But one gains a life
Gives hope to those who doesn't
But still is betrayed
A life for a life
That is how we all survive
Reality kills

I really enjoyed this stream of haiku/senryu. The ending line was very powerful. It spurs a lot of reflection. Thanks for sharing!
There was one episode in the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender where they were talking Haiku. And have come to loved it. I have known Haiku ever since I was in high school but never got to make one or even appreciate its beauty. Now, there's just something dramatic and surreal on the simplicity of a Haiku. So little words, but conveys big interpretations to every reader. Hope I can read some haikus too in the community :)
Thank you for the appreciation! :)
