Do Not Disclose Your Plans!

We're all guilty of announcing our goals and plans early on before we achieve any of them, most of the times before we even take our first step in these paths. The reason; we're humans. We seek the admiration and respect in advance, for things we didn't even accomplish, and that's inherent in us. Unless we oppose this desire to disclose our plans, there's not much what we could achieve.

But, why could that be bad in the first place? The reason is; we get almost the same sense of validation when we say we're going to achieve something as when we actually achieve that thing. Which is highly discouraging to put in the effort and hard work when you could just get that free validation!

It's like when you could cheat on a test and get the same grade you would've got if you spent a hundred hours studying; as humans we're inclined to take the short path.

The other problem is; it's often that we compare ourselves to other people and we want to implicitly prove that we're doing good in life, perhaps better than others or certainly are.
It's like we're competing for the emotions of admiration, respect and above all: attention.

When people know your goals they know where to attack, then you'd hear things like it's not gonna work and here's why! Others now can make you doubt your goals and plans!

The closest people in my life had caused me the most damage every time I disclose something good before it takes place, and I've learned the hard way to keep my plans and goals to myself, and make them appear to the world instead of announcing them.

You have to kill your desires of impressing people, it's the single trait that could get you down on your knees and let you abandon your own goals!

Think of ultra successful people who simply don't want to prove anything to anybody, they're not seeking validation from anyone, because their actions had proved to them and to the world that they are worthy of admiration and respect.

Just focus on your game and never look around, learn how to clap to yourself and never need someone's applaud or validation.
