You have extinguished the light
in the sea of my eyes,
while in my breast
fluttering gulls of your love.
I am afraid of the silence
of the sleeping trees,
listening to the whisper,
the murmur of your lost love.
That has sunk me
into barren deaf hills,
with thick shadows
clouding my path.
I laid my poetry at your feet,
rivers of love I gave you,
what shall I say to God if still
your loving voices still resound?
