Greetings everyone, I am @aowilson and I've penned down a poem, may it really bless you as you read through. Don't hesitate to answer the question that follows after it.
COULD THERE BE MORE THAN THIS?
The air is just stuffy
The atmosphere is just gloomy and dark despite the perching of the bright sun
Nothing seems to move though, everything is stiff
Everyone looks so tired of the realm
Their faces looking so gloomy like a thick cloud ready to rain
And they are busy; just as how the rain alerts makes everyone hasty, though this time slower- I mean slow haste
It seems the current derailed economy has a hand in this; or maybe not
No, maybe I am overthinking though
Oh I hear some say the the end of the earth is near, well ...
Others have their own reasons to point at, its really frustrating
Something seems to be out of place, maybe not fully gone but just a little shift-one degree away can change the sailing of a ship
Well at least we still have some peace here around us
Peace got banished in some towns and villages
Fear, anguish, pain, panic and death has found them as place of abode
Joy broke up with a lot of folks, she said she's not coming back
I see love walking around but I doubt her,she has the appearance but not the content
The only happy people I see around are the outward appearances of people
Happy faces but heavy hearts; bright faces but dark hearts
Pains overlooked, fears hidden,shame ignored; all under happy faces
Happy faces are really graves wit a lot of dirt
Worries searching for hope, problems seeking for solution, hunger and thirst seeking to be quenched
Parents seeking a future for their lads
Kids and youths in turn seeking to become free like a bird,in a lawless land
Oh what vanity I see
The poor seeking the money possessed by the rich, while
The rich are seeking for the peace of mind possessed by the poor
But then what? and why? are we really chasing around?
O what vanity I see
I've watched the poor get rich swiftly
I've also watched the rich get poor swiftly
My eyes have witnessed "born rich, live rich and die rich)
Also I have witnessed "born poor,live poor and die poor"
It's a hard nut to crack but I feel there's a fleshy fruit under the shell
Oh what vanity I see
"Keep searching" they say, one day, "e go better"
AFTER THE SEEKING, WHAT NEXT?
COULD THERE BE MORE THAN THIS?
My question is: WHAT NEXT! ? WHAT NEXT?!!
