The election had begun, and a favored party was leading, bringing joy to the people. Suddenly, thugs stormed the polling station to steal ballot boxes. They arrived armed, intimidating the local officials. Consequently, that polling unit was closed, and all votes were canceled.
I initially believed this was an isolated incident in my area. However, I've come to realize that politicians frequently exploit such situations to disenfranchise voters, allowing corrupt leaders to maintain power. The purpose of voting is to remove these very leaders, yet they consistently find ways to manipulate the system.
The television news confirmed that another polling unit in a different region of the country had also been shut down.
Now! The politicians are no longer for the people; however, they are for their pocket!
