When We Were Together... || A Self Composed Poetry

in Freewriters5 months ago

Hi and good day fellow authors, tribe and other readers who are fond of browsing through literature, writing and other creative arts that are valuable in the blockchain.

Really quite sometimes I think in this fashion that, all of these creative ideas, blog posts and sharing own stories etc, they all are valuable because of all of the folks who are behind the "post-bar" commenting, curating and engaging with each other.

All of these transactions have value, neat value that cant be denied and so their full potential.

I am thankful to all of the authors and readers who are contributing little to lot and eventually turning the community and ecosystem a successful one. Congratulations to you all.

Anyway, for today's post - I would write a poem that is self composed . At the beginning or the first thorough reading of the post might seem as quixotic or cryptic to find out the exact tone of the theme being presented - but later on, it wouldn’t be like that.

I do out of habit that, when I am done thinking about the idea of the poem, I try to focus upon the visual that it is presented upon and then focus on how it connects human nature and reality when both is met well and that connects and transfigures into a poem.

So without a seconds delay, lets get into the realm of the poem and any feedback or opinion is appreciated after the readout is done. Thanks for patience and wish you all a very good luck.

Togetherness

The nights were so long,
Thinking about the wrong,
I did falling in love with you,
When you disappeared though.

All went like a blink of an eye,
That we met just a days past,
Sun peeped and a shallow morning,
Tender hearts collided every evening.

I tried to see you just like it was new,
Every time I whispered back and forth,
Nights were sleepless, they really were,
I looked at stars and sky - full of meagre.

The blank faces I saw and can never forget,
That tragedy left apart watching you go away,
Maybe its the fate - or the whim of the nature,
Who knew that we would be never in there.

I felt the time and so as the road of your departure,
No other wishes and broken promises dont nurture,
Souls try to find ways and it for many times never there,
To pick you up from dusts and the ashes left memories.

I walked past and hoped that someday in the streets back,
A shadow would be calling me by name and I be wonder,
Sweetie its time to turn back and start walking again,
Leaving roads and the ways - distant too far in between.

Thanks For Reading. See you the next time with another write. Good day ahead.
