A slippery floor is a floor surface with reduced friction, making it easy for someone to easily lose their footing and fall. It can be caused by certain factors such as liquids such as spilled water, spilled oil, cleaning agents, and other liquid substances. It can also be caused by smooth surface dust and debris. A slippery floor in relationship is a situation where trust and faith are compromised, leading to instability, misunderstandings, fallouts, and breakups. Certain factors lead to fallouts in relationships, which we can term as a slippery floor, one of which is a lack of trust. Trust is the foundation of a strong relationships, when trust is breached, the relationship becomes slippery. This can happen through dishonesty and secrecy. Keeping secrets has broken down many relationships.
Other factors are lack of communication and inconsistent behaviors. Communication is key in every relationship. When communication becomes shallow, the relationship becomes slippery. When partners don't communicate, it creates spaces between them, leading to fallouts. Inconsistent behaviors in a partner create doubt and insecurity. When a partner says one thing and does another, and this continues for a while, it leads to a fall. All the factors mentioned above are those liquids spilled on the floor, which eventually lead to a slippery floor.
