So I had been planning to relocate to another city, well not just me. I am a couple of persons but most of us were going for a conference in the city which will last for two months.
After two months, the rest of us would have to go back to their base while I remain back in the new city. It was a permanent relocation at least for now.
Well, the new city in the western part of our country was entirely different in their ways of doing things, in culture, lifestyle and the people there. Apart from all that, things were more expensive than where am coming from.
One of the most challenging things was going to be where to stay. I had my big bro living in the city but I definitely wouldn’t stay at his place basically because his house is full and he has other people living with him.
I was going to put up with my cousin for a while and then look for a place to stay. Another put off is that accommodations are very expensive. More like four times more expensive than where I was going from.
One of the cheapest options I could get for a start was to check out a facility that allowed people to stay for some months and pay partly. It’s kinda a hostel facility. They had all you need such as bed, wardrobe, kitchen, fridge and all and all you need to do is to just move in without having to get the basic house hold items and it was just perfect for a start.
These kind of facilities are littered around the city. A friend directed me to one to check out first but on getting there, my disappointment knew no bounds. I couldn’t believe the shank I saw in the name of a hostel and the price they were calling was crazy.
I went out disappointed and angry. Hahahah. But God was going to help me settle in cos I had prayed and asked God to reserve a place for me. Well He did.
When I got to the second hostel, It was far better than the first and the price was also way lower and it was very clean. The contrast between the two places was so much that I told myself, here’s the place and I paid straight away
