The city is a place of broken dreams,
Where hope is a luxury that few can afford.
Its streets are lined with the shattered remains
Of those who dared to believe in something more.
They came seeking happiness and love,
But found only heartache and despair.
Now they just try to survive each day,
Praying for a way out of this nightmare.
The city is a cold and cruel place,
Where only the strong survive.
Its inhabitants are hardened and cynical,
Their hearts long since dead inside.
They have given up on happiness,
And stopped looking for the light.
They just exist in this dark world,
Hoping to make it through another night.

Nice poem. Too much corruption in the big bad cities 😕
People thrown in the streets at random.
Here is a petition against illegal homelessness 🚫![untitled.gif](https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://media.tenor.com/nslnVp1kIDQAAAAC/sisslor-welcome.gif)

I am against criminalizing homelessness. You might have missed the point of my poem or that it is part of a fictional story.
Its real as he'll. I even went to Wormwood Scrubbs prison, without a prosecution.
