What I feel: Someone is reminding someone else that she is loved ... and there is a song by Brahms this also reminds me of, of a man who brought his beloved dewy roses and noted that she wept as they did, so moved by the love signified by those roses ... in any language, the emotion comes across from the man's direction, and I'll write from the view of the receiver ...
The uncommon sweet blend of aromas took her mind back to the then-new cafe where she relaxed as a graduate student every evening.
One evening, the young cafe owner presented her a coffee, a rose, and two candies.
20 years later, she knew her her husband still remembered, with love.

A way to a woman's heart the young man knew taking note of her when she visited his cafe. He knew from close observation and studying her as she studied that the young lady was his choice for the future.
