It's so much work from monday to sunday as a professional chef. One would have littke or no time to rest or have fun when thinking about the daily grind which is at hand. Waking up as early as possible to make sure every necessary ingredients are ready, making meals one after the other, cutting this , frying that, boiling , smoking, checking and rechecking taste and food quality and so forth. All day is filled with cooking activities, taking orders here and there, giving instructions to workers, supervising the kitchen. People eat everyday, so a chef has no break unless one is created if not, He's bound to keep struggling with the daily grind
