Today we can say that we are in summer, we are still in summer. (At least in the northern hemisphere). Now it's September already, the days and weeks fly by, right? But the calendar does not indicate the temperature nor the sensations.
The sensations are of summer, the same ones that they felt at the beginning of June. Summer vibes. It is that the summer season is very long, sometimes it seems to have no end and for the moment I see that this month we will also continue above 30 degrees, there is the almost insurmountable barrier.
It is true that at times a little breeze blows, the sea is always with us and when it can be, it refreshes us. And we continue visiting the beach and we see that there are still umbrellas that resist and color the blue horizon. Those in love with the sun and the Mediterranean Sea resist, and those who take advantage of the free moments they still have. And those who start their vacation now enjoy it like the first day.
There are those who neither resist nor enjoy like the first day, simply because they always go, they have it in front of them and others because they never go, not even when it's hot. But it is still summer, we see the same shorts and the same sandals, the same constant and relentless heat continues.
The days seem monotonous, even the waves of the sea seem to move with the same cadence all the time, the wind seems to blow when it does in the same way, and the clouds, well, they only show themselves from time to time with nothing more than count, they pass quickly, like one of those visits that go quickly. We see them and when we look at the sky again, they are gone. Everything else is equal.
The vibes are the same, so what has changed? The expectations. Yes, the days mark us with other routines and other chores that we try to fit in now without forgetting the summer, everything is possible at the same time. But now there are other expectations, we think about the days to come, about the next with other plans and projects, we no longer have to wait "after the summer", the activity has returned and the desires are built again.
We think about the next few weeks, even if we can put on other types of clothes, since we already have a lot of summer clothes, but we have to wait. We think of other meals, other events on weekends, we think of other holidays as well.
We continue with summer vibes but with renewed illusions, because this month is a good time for renewal. And why not, to still enjoy the sea as much as possible, because let's be honest, after many months, we will miss it.
We have to take advantage of what we have, not to forget with the monotony of the days, how much we like it, value it and appreciate it at this very moment.
And while we maintain the sensations of summer under the warm sun, sweating and listening to the waves of the sea... our mind travels a thousand miles an hour, with so many things to think about, because the season will change and we should enjoy it just the same.
The good autumn vibes will arrive too, and we look forward to them looking at the horizon watching the boats go by...
