I used to hate war so much that I never wanted to be around it. I never thought I’d end up writing about a war scenario on my blog. But here I am, sharing a story that caught my attention. So, grab a drink and enjoy as I share what I saw, what I felt, and a short story about the experience.
What I Saw
I saw a man breathing fire. It looked like a fierce battle was about to start, one that would need everyone’s help because it was going to be intense. Fire can destroy everything in its path, and I couldn’t help but think about the danger it posed to the people in the community where this happened.
What I Felt
I felt a strong sense of conflict in the city. It seemed like the only way to resolve it was through war. But after the war, peace would follow.
A Story
In the city of Peru, a disagreement arose within the Royal family over who would take the throne for the next 10 years. This disagreement led to a split between the Royal family and a group known as the Equitists.
The citizens were unhappy with the Royal family's leadership. They felt the royals were more interested in living extravagant lives, using the people's resources, rather than fulfilling their promises and duties.
The people of Peru had been living in tough conditions, hoping for the day they would be freed from the Royal family's rule. It was known that when someone spits fire in Peru, it often means a conflict could escalate into war. The only way to avoid this is through mutual agreement, where both sides come together to find a peaceful solution.
However, neither the Royal family nor the Equitists were willing to compromise. It was either the Equitists would rule, or the Royal family would maintain power.
A wise man living in Peru invited a magician to predict the outcome of the conflict. The magician took water, performed incantations, and then spat it out. If the water remained as water, it would mean peace. But if it turned into fire, it would signal a bloody war.
Unfortunately, the water turned into fire, foreshadowing a violent war between the Royal family and the Equitists, who were simply fighting for justice. The same way it was predicted was what happened. All the Royal family members were targets, they had to go on exile for the equitist to rule fairly.
Lessons
In life, it’s important not to be selfish. Good leadership means supporting the people, not just pursuing personal interests at their expense.

A family could love each other to the end of the world and beyond but when power is involved, that love just disappears and all they see is an enemy.
