This Picture is Worth a Thousand Words: Shayne's Funny Client

Hello, wonderful family of Free Writers! This week, we have a new picture prompt, and I'll be discussing the image of a woman with a camera.

Woman With Camera.JPGSource

Describe what you see:
In the picture, I see an elderly woman holding a camera. The moment captured seems to show her just as she was about to take a photo, her attention was diverted from the lens.

Describe what you feel:
The image brings a sense of surprise and curiosity. Despite being in the photography profession for over 15 years, this woman seems to have encountered someone funny. Her expression suggests she has come across a unique moment that she hasn't experienced before.

Her name is Shayne. She was one of those people who never had a strong passion for traditional education. Throughout her schooling, she struggled and switched between five different courses, never finding success because none of them aligned with her true interests.

From a young age, Shayne dreamed of becoming a professional graphic artist. She had a natural talent for capturing beautiful moments through the lens of a camera, creating images that inspired memories and emotions. However, her parents never supported her aspirations. They believed she was misguided for wanting to pursue photography instead of aiming for a career as a nurse, lawyer, or doctor.

At 30, Shayne felt trapped. Her parents' strict insistence on pursuing a career path left her with little room to explore her passion.

As they grew older, she found it increasingly difficult to continue following their advice. Deep down, she knew that the path they wanted for her wasn't the one she truly desired. She longed to break free and follow her own dreams, even if it meant going against her parents' wishes respectfully.

Shayne started making ends meet and saving up to buy a camera. In the meantime, she enrolled in a photography school to deepen her knowledge of graphics and image editing.

Before she completed her training, a longtime friend surprised her with the very camera she had been saving for, a brand new Zikkon camera with the highest resolution for photos and videos. Grateful and excited, Shayne began collaborating with brands, offering them high-quality graphics work for free to build her portfolio.

This marked the beginning of her rise to fame. She soon gained recognition, with even presidents of countries calling on her to capture important events. These jobs paid her handsomely. Despite her advancing age, Shayne couldn't resist continuing to use her skills, even though she wished she had started earlier.

Whenever people hired her, they often doubted whether she could handle the job perfectly. But to their surprise, she always exceeded their expectations, delivering results that left clients satisfied, despite her high fees.

One day, a celebrity contacted Shayne for a passport photo. The celebrity needed the passport photographs urgently to process a visa for an upcoming trip. He invited her to take the photos, specifying that he needed a passport photo. Shayne even did the makeup for him, ensuring he looked his best for the shots.

She was surprised when the celebrity started posing for the passport photographs. Instead of standing in the usual, formal way, he put on a cap, raised his hands in the air, and insisted that the photos still be suitable for a passport.

Shayne was taken by surprise; she had never encountered anyone who needed a passport photo and posed in that way.

And that's the story of the woman who encountered a funny client. Have a lovely week, everyone!

That was a funny pose for a passport photo. As long as the face is recognizable, I guess you can pose whichever way you like. Shayne's career was impressive after it took off. You never know which way life will take you or if you're making the right choice. You just have to go with your gut sometimes even against all odds and others holding you back.

I know that her parents would have been proud of her for her accomplishments. That is the very reason why I never pushed my children to undertake a career they didn't like. They went their own way and were successful.

Thanks for sharing this thoughtful family backdrop story. A lovely read of passion, determination, and success. Take care.

You just said it all . I am also planning to ensure my kids walk in same pattern too. Let them choose the career they are passionate about. Thanks for reading

Then we shall avoid the drama that comes with the teen years and rebellion against our wishes. Whew...

Take care.

One is never too old to follow a dream or find the right profession.
