A Familiar Feeling, a five minute freewrite

When he walked in the room Brad had that familiar feeling that he had been here before. He looked around but didn't recognise the furniture of the layout, so what was it? The woman sitting behind the desk looked up from her computer. The smile that seemed to be pinned to her face faltered when she saw him and Brad thought she knew him.

"Can I help you, sir," she asked, looking back at her computer. "Do you have an appointment?" Brad approached the desk and smiled.

"Do you know me?" he asked.

"Excuse me?"

"Have I been here before? I have a feeling I've been here before, but I can't remember when." The receptionist looked him in the eye.

"I don't think so, sir. But I'm new, I've only been here a couple of weeks, so perhaps you've been here before I arrived." Brad shook his head.

"I don't think so, I have a feeling it was more recent than that."

"Do you have an appointment, sir?" Brad shook his head again.

"I don't actually. Could you make me one?"
