Freewrite prompt “implication” by @mariannewest.
I didn't even know what the word “implication” fully means, so I had to search for its definition. I found out, that it's either a suggested meaning, a consequence, or an act of being involved with something, in the negative sense.
Be as it might, I wonder what my current work implies. I am writing about a cat, it's going to be a huge post. I don't have any photos of the cat in question, implying they might have been lost in time.
I wonder what I am saying though. The whole proposition, that one should act and do something in order to not starve implies we are not fully free of responsibility. A responsibility to ourselves, to keep ourselves live and fed. Us and our families, offspring too.
Anyhow, I guess my “freewrite” is now over, as my timer sounded off its alarm, and I am still writing. Currently my fingers are just running on the keyboard, stepping on the keys, creating word-tracks as they go. What an animal I am, making my mark on the world.
Maybe I can call this success!
There are people who develop this tolerance and there are others who harm them greatly because their allergies increase. These harmless animals can have many diseases, we must be careful with their excessive population.
Allergies often develop due to overly clean environments and low exposure, followed by sudden contact with allergens. For example, in Finland, many immigrants from warmer countries develop severe birch pollen allergies because they weren’t exposed to it as children and never built up a tolerance. The same happens when city kids who’ve had little to no contact with animals suddenly start spending time around dogs, cats, or horses.
In my case, I didn’t have much exposure to animals growing up, which likely contributed to my allergies. Had I been raised on a farm with constant contact, I might have had better resistance — or maybe even fewer atopic tendencies altogether.
It took me years to build up a tolerance to dogs, but now we have three, and I’m mostly allergy-free.
Turns out, stubbornness works both ways — mine and the dogs’! But I'll tell you about the cat later.
I adore your dogs, they are beautiful, top notch, I don't remember seeing the cat, it will be pending. I understand allergies I live with one to house dust. A hug @gamer00
Adoro a tus perros son hermosos, de campeonato, no me acuerdo de haber visto el gato, estará pendiente. Entiendo las alergias vivo con una al polvo domestico. Un abrazo
cats and dogs inside the house implies germs for hosts
Hey, that may be true, but if we follow that implication, then we’d have to ignore the fact that exposure to germs from pets can actually strengthen the immune system and reduce the risk of developing allergies. Sometimes, what seems like a downside has unexpected benefits.
