As a Government official, I work in an environment characterized with various Ministries and departments, and each of these Ministries and departments, there exist various directors, Managers, top Government officials, etc., and every one of them with different behaviors they exhibit at work, most especially towards their subordinates.
Some are very rude, while some are partly nice and some seem to be very authoritative.
But Mr. Samuel Johnson popularly called Sam Jay by junior officers, on the other hand, is a man of the people, he is very humble and accommodating. Even though he is a director on a grade level 17, he accords everyone around him the respect they deserve.
He is a typical example of a leader who leads by example. He loves to encourage young employees and always helps to tackle challenges encountered while discharging one's duties.
What he desires most is to see everyone around him grow and attain a greater height so that they can be useful for themselves, their household, the Government, and the nation at large.
I could recall vividly when Mr. Sam Jay was hospitalized due to an illness. The hospital which he was admitted was practically flooded with employees from different Ministries, departments, etc., and as a matter of fact, a doctor said, he has been practicing for more than two decades and the kind gesture Mr. Sam Jay received was overwhelming and come to the conclusion that "that man in there must be kind-hearted person and a great leader.
His behaviors and attitudes taught other directors like him to be accommodating and respect employees irrespective of their age and grade Level.
