Stephen was seated in the classroom on a hot afternoon, when he noticed some of his classmates bullying his friend, Lionel. He was shy and tended to stay so much on his own and out of mischief. He preferred to engage in activities such as reading rather than sporting activities and this earned him very good grades, that was enough reason for bullies to target him.
Stephen's anger grew as the bullying and the teasing escalated. He had turned to look at Lionel, whose fear was palpable as he got up from his seat, to walk out of the classroom, unable to endure anymore. This did not sit well with Stephen as his hands balled into fists. He strode towards the bullies and challenged them.
Please, stop it," he said firmly. "You wouldn’t like it if someone did this to you."
The group of kids seemed to be stunned as they whispered amongst themselves and immediately stopped the teasing, for no one wanted to be in the bad books of stephen, the principal's son.
